Pontoon Boat FAQ's
Pontoons are easy to operate and maneuver. Your crew will be calling you Captain before you leave the dock. And don't worry about getting lost because we provide a map of the area so you will always know where you are.
You'll probably want to stop at Shell Island and explore the sugar white beaches or look for sand dollars in the shallow waters. Shell Island is a barrier island which lies between the Gulf of Mexico and St. Andrews Bay. The island is one of the few undeveloped areas left, and is inhabited only by wildlife. Don't forget to bring snacks and a cooler. You're sure to get thirsty as you sunbathe while watching the kids build sand castles.
There's a possibility you may see a sea turtle or two along the way. Five of the world's seven sea turtle species are found in the Gulf of Mexico. And don't be surprised if a dolphin comes up to swim alongside your boat. This area is home to one of the world's largest concentrations of bottle-nosed dolphins, and they are very often seen frolicking in St. Andrews Bay and the Gulf of Mexico. But, PLEASE, remember that the turtles and dolphins are both classified as threatened or endangered species and it is ILLEGAL TO FEED OR HARRASS them.
Pontoon boats are HANDICAPPED ACCESSIBLE.
WE RECOMMEND SCHEDULING YOUR PONTOON BOAT RESERVATION EARLY IN YOUR TRIP so as to allow for cancellations in case of bad weather. We can't control the weather, and we won't take a chance on your safety.
